PEUGEOT CYCLES IS ALIVE BUT NOT KICKING
The Automobiles Peugeot retook the ownership of the Peugeot mark for the bicycles after 2004.
The bicycles continue to exist, produced in the old plant of Peugeot, now owned by Cycleurope, in Romilly-sur-Seine, France.
Unhappily, nowadays, Peugeot have not very attractive models.
The sales are made by the net of sales of automobiles but only in France, Switzerland, Japan, Greece, Bulgaria, Germany and Denmark, you can see the site of all countries from http://www.peugeot.com/fr/produits/cycles.aspx.
In Portugal, Peugeot Portugal Automóveis it does not show interest in commercializing this centennial brand. It is lamentable.
I think that the future of the brand in the bicycles is compromised because of will and investment lack.
